You’re not alone in that—it’s often a meaningful place to begin.
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, lost, worried, or unsure of what to do next. Others are navigating stress, loneliness, relationship challenges, or life transitions.
You might already understand yourself in many ways.
You’ve thought things through.
You have insight.
But when it comes to making changes, something still gets in the way. Being human can be difficult, and it’s not always easy to make sense of what you’re experiencing or why, let alone what to do about it.
I offer a space to slow things down and get closer what’s happening more deeply—so you can begin to move forward in a way that feels more grounded, more self-directed, and more like you.
Areas of Focus
I support adults who may be experiencing:
Anxiety, excessive worry, or a busy mind
Difficulty relaxing or “switching off”
Irritability, frustration, or feeling on edge
Feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or mentally exhausted
Low mood, depression, or loss of motivation
Feeling disconnected, or not like yourself
Difficulty managing intense emotions
Holding in emotions or struggling to express how you feel
Low self-esteem or feeling “not good enough”
A strong inner critic or harsh self-judgment
Shame, guilt, or persistent self-doubt
Perfectionism or feeling like you’re never doing “enough”
People-pleasing or loose boundaries
Confusing or unfulfilling relationships
Loneliness or a sense of isolation
Feeling disconnected from others or struggling to open up
Feeling stuck, lost, or unsure of next steps
Struggles with meaning, purpose, or direction
Men’s mental health and issues with identity
2SLGBTQIA+ experiences (including identity exploration, coming out, internalized shame)
Navigating major life changes or transitions

You feel tangled up in thoughts and can’t see a clear way forward
You know something needs to change, but you’re not sure where to start
You think things through deeply, but still feel stuck
You feel pulled between what you want and what others expect
You’re tired of repeating the same patterns
You overthink, second-guess, or replay decisions in your head
You've tried to make change, but it doesn't seem to work out
If this feels familiar, therapy could be the start of untangling what’s holding you back.
How therapy can help
Therapy can offer a space to notice, reflect, and explore your experiences—without pressure or judgment. Working together, we can:
Observe patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviour, and explore how your life circumstances, your culture, and/or social context may shape them
Explore different ways of responding in daily life
Build awareness of your needs, boundaries, and values
Develop a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself
Think about how the different parts of who you are—your identities, experiences, and roles—affect how you feel and respond in daily life
Come up with things to try out or experiment with in your daily life that may initiate new ways of doing things
